WHAT DID WE FORGET TO PUT IN THE SELF STUDY?
The values are infused throughout the college and it’s planning activities.
We spend money upon students and learning rather than buildings and maintenance.
-Nyleta
The majority of the money goes towards the students/scholarships vs. support staff, maintenence workers, buildings
Look at being more concrete with a stated amount of the budget going towards academics/learning
Utilizing resource educators from other institutions/diverse fields (partnerships with other institutions: UMD, MSUM, Concordia)

Sons and Daughters of Tradition

Brain Development Conference

WHAT HAS CHANGED SINCE WE WROTE THE SELF STUDY?
Faculty have a small budget now
Hopefully by the time we submit the self study we will have looked at budget as it relates to our priorities and learning outcomes.
More emphasis upon infusing the values throughout the whole college.
-Nyleta
HOW DO WE ADD TO OR STRENGTHEN THIS AREA?
A piece of the planning process is missing. The Board of Trustees needs additional members. They need a quorum to make decisions.
-Tammy
Employee Reviews: Discussion about training needs for each position and the costs involved.
